On 16th June 2021 the IOAS took the decision to suspend Faircert Certification Services Pvt. Ltd. ’s ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation along with the EU recommendation for accreditation. The time limit for an appeal has now expired.
Faircert has been invited to take corrective actions to enable IOAS to lift the suspension. Whilst the suspension is in effect Faircert is not permitted to accept new applications or extend the scope of certificates but is required to maintain surveillance on existing certificate holders.
Any operations, certification bodies and authorities that relied on these accreditations are asked to take note.
