On 15th May 2025, a new Implementing Regulation EU 2025/882 was published in the Official Journal. This Regulation introduces amendments to Annex II of Implementing Regulation EU 2021/1378, with regard to scope of recognition of several control bodies and adding new recognized control bodies to Annex II.
Control bodies assessed y IOAS and included in this new amendment are ACO Certification Ltd, ACT Organic Company Ltd, JONA, Onecert International Pvt Ltd, and PT BIOCert Indonesia. Balkan Biocert Macedonia DOOEL Skopje is removed from the list of recognized control bodies as in Annex II, following voluntary withdrawal of the control body.

On the same date, Implementing Regulation EU 2025/883 related to equivalence recognition of third countries was published in the Official Journal. This Regulation introduces amendments to Annex I of Regulation EU 2021/2325, with regard to the scope of recognition of some of the third countries in this Annex. The scope of recognition of Japan is now amended as follows:
Included is also category B: Live animals or unprocessed animal products;
Expanded is the scope covered under category D: Processed agricultural products for use as food, to include also wine and alcoholic beverages, with organically grown ingredients that have been grown in Japan, or with organically grown ingredients imported into Japan from the European Union, from third countries whose production methods and control measures have been recognised by Japan as equivalent to those laid down in the Japanese legislation or from third countries through the system of control bodies recognised by Japan as competent to certify operators in those third countries as complying with the organic production rules of Japan.
