IOAS accredits certification bodies against two key textile standards: the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Textile Exchange. By meticulously evaluating CBs to ensure they meet the rigorous requirements of these standards, IOAS upholds the credibility and reliability of both GOTS and Textile Exchange certifications. This process ensures consistent and trustworthy organic textile labelling globally, reinforcing the integrity and transparency of the organic textile industry.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
We meticulously assess CB adherence to GOTS criteria for organic textile processing. This accreditation process includes a detailed evaluation of each CB’s procedures, technical competence, and compliance with GOTS requirements related to organic integrity, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.
Textile Exchange
IOAS is committed to the responsible expansion of textile sustainability throughout the global textile value chain by accrediting Textile Exchange. This commitment ensures that certification bodies adhere to rigorous standards, promoting sustainable practices and fostering integrity within the textile industry.
