IFOAM accreditation is based on the IFOAM Norms for Organic Production and Processing. These norms are made up of the IFOAM Standards and the IFOAM Accreditation Requirements. Certification bodies can use a production standard which is listed in the 'IFOAM Family Standards' or submit their own standard for assessment.
