IOAS Board appoints new Impartiality Committee Member

The Impartiality Committee’s function is to ensure that IOAS conducts its business impartially. It reviews samples of decisions taken by IOAS and examines the appropriateness of IOAS policies and procedures related to freedom from conflict of interest of individuals and the organization as a whole. The Committee also determines whether any actions should be taken to mitigate potential risks to impartiality.

It is our great pleasure to congratulate Michela Coli on becoming the newest member of the Impartiality Committee.

Michela started working in organic agriculture in 1997 after graduating in agricultural sciences. She has traveled the world conducting inspections, providing training, and participating in international projects. Michela currently works for an Italian Certification Body, AGROQUALITA’ SPA (RINA Group), and continues to lend her experience in the field of coordination and monitoring of inspection activities and personnel.
