International Organic and Natural Cosmetics Corporation of Germany has voluntarily withdrawn from its accreditation under the COSMOS accreditation program as of January 4th, 2024. Any operations, certification bodies and authorities that relied on this accreditation are asked to take note.

GSCS of Bangladesh has transferred its accreditation under the GOTS, Textile Exchange, and ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation programs as of December 31, 2023. Any operations, certification bodies and authorities that relied on this accreditation are asked to take note.

On January 3, 2024, IOAS withdrew CCPB’s Textile Exchange accreditation for Bangladesh and India. CCPB’s accreditation under other schemes and their accreditation for other countries under Textile Exchange remain unaffected. On December 19, 2023, IOAS suspended AfriCert Ltd.’s ISO/IEC 17065 (EU Equivalence) accreditation and terminated application for Regulation (EU) 2018/848.  AfriCert Ltd. has been invited to take corrective action to enable the suspensions to be lifted.
